Ingredients

Sauce

  • 1/4 Cup Mayo
  • 1 Tbsp Sriracha
  • 1 Tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 Tsp Soy Sauce

Stir Fry

  • 1 White Onion
  • 1 Red Pepper
  • 1 Green Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil

Burger

  • 2 Lbs Ground Chuck Beef 80% lean / 20% fat
  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 4 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 4 Tbsp Sriracha
  • 4 Tsp Salt
  • 4 Tsp Pepper
  • 4 Slices Pepper Jack Cheese
  • 4 Ciabatta Buns

Instructions

Sauce

  • Mix mayo, Sriracha, lime and soy sauce together in a small bowl and set aside.

Stir Fry

  • Slice onion, red pepper, and green pepper into strips. Chop cilantro.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan and add peppers and onions. Salt and pepper to flavor. After a few minutes add the cilantro. Cook until slightly soft.
  • Wrap in a piece of aluminum foil to keep warm. You can also place this on the grill for the last couple minutes of burger cooking to keep them hot.

Burger

  • Get your grill/pan/etc hot. Optionally, turn on oven to 400 degrees to heat ciabatta buns.
  • Dice garlic cloves, mix with salt, pepper, Sriracha, and soy sauce in a small bowl. Mix with ground beef, but avoid over handling.
  • Divide beef into 8oz (1/2 lb) portions (or you can use smaller 6oz portions). Flatten into patties that are about 1/2 inch larger than the buns.
  • Put a thumbprint in the middle of the patty so it doesn’t puff up when cooking.
  • If you're heating up the ciabatta buns, place them in the oven for 6-8 min.
  • Grill your burgers about 4min on the first side.
  • Flip burgers and immediately add cheese. Cook until you reach the correct temp (140F for medium), usually about 2 to 4 minutes.
  • Place stir fry on bottom of bun, then add burger and finally the sauce. Enjoy!
