Chili Cheese Burger
The Chili Cheese Burger is one of my favorites. The tomato, chili spices, and cheese all go together amazingly well as a burger. Make one today!

Burger
- 1.5 Lbs Ground Beef (2lbs total for recipe) 80% lean / 20% fat
- 1 Tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 Bag Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Chili
- 1/2 Lb Ground Beef
- 1/2 Onion diced
- 1 Tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 Tbsp Cumin
- 1 Tbsp Paprika
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 15 oz Canned Tomatoes
- 8 oz Canned Tomato Sauce
- Green Onions diced to top
- Vegetable Oil
Chili Topping
Heat some oil in a pan & cook onion until softened.
Add 1/2 Lb of ground beef & cook until browned.
Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, tomatoes & tomato sauce. Stir to combine and warm. Set aside.
Burger
Add chili powder & garlic powder to remaining hamburger and mix. Make 4 patties.
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and cook burgers for 1.5 min on first side.
Flip burgers & top with chili and then cheese. Cook until done (about another minute or 2). Top with a lid to melt cheese.
Add burger to bun & top with jalapeƱos & green onions. Enjoy!
